Born and raised in Avellino, one of Italy's most renowned wine-producing provinces, home to Taurasi, Greco di Tufo, and Fiano di Avellino, Paolo developed a deep passion for wine long before undertaking formal studies.
He later trained and earned the certification as a certified sommelier from the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS), the most prestigious and historic sommelier association in Italy, founded in 1965 and recognized worldwide as a benchmark for wine expertise in Italy.
His true passion, however, lies in vintage wines: the bottles that encapsulate history, patience, and the story of an exceptional vintage. Paolo believes that understanding a great aged wine is the surest way to fully understand Italian wine culture.
